Miss Fitness International as a nun




Jenny Hendershott won the Ms.Fitness International and Ms.Olympia titles in 2005. In 2004 she came out at the Olympia in a nun outfit performing a "Jesus" routine. Isaac Hinds came to know why:
"I have been battling my faith for over a year and a half. I can be a very private person at times and I had lost 5 friends over the course of 4 months so I was struggling for a while with Death, God, prayer, and the importance of my own life. I wanted to out do the 2003 routine so I kind of put it all together and came up with proclaiming my faith in front of the industry. Again, what do I have to lose and hey I want to entertain and I want to stand out. I loved the end result and I have since found myself and yes, God really is my homeboy."

June 21 is the International Day of Yoga. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. PlayersPrayers is back

It's been 10 years since we decided to suspend PlayersPrayers. A lot has happened since. Our three kids have established themselves in their own sports: swimming, MMA, and baseball. But most recently, the global COVID-19 pandemic has driven followers of sports and spirituality more to the screens. I recently attend my first in-person professional sporting event in over 18 months. We have begun to attend in-person church again. In our area poeple are going back to church and stadium. The intersection of sports and spirituality remains alive and well, and PlayersPrayers is back to shed some light on it. We remain open to all faiths and sports with an international perspective. Our platform may adjust. For now, Blogger is around and working, as are Twitter and and Youtube. All these channels will receive significant updates in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
